1st St LawrenceHello to everyone that will be part of Raleigh sub-camp!
there have been no posts so far to this part of the message board so I thought we'd be first on.
We are coming along with 14 Scouts (both boys and girls) together with 4 Leaders. We are part of Thanet District in East Kent and come from the town of Ramsgate (well someone has to).
We have attended Campdowne before in 2004 and are looking forward to Campdowne 08. We are eager to meet other Scouts and everyone is welcome to come and say hi to us, we will have some swaps if anyone wants to. We are also happy for anyone to come and have a cup of tea and a chat, especially some of the leaders once the scouts are off at activities.
We are a fun bunch and want to get the most out of Campdowne.
Not sure what fancy dress we can conjour up yet, but I can always dress as a potato if I get stuck!

Hi it's good to see someone has started talking on our area what about some of the other campers we are looking after joining in lets see what everyone is doing or expecting to get out of this great event.

Just found out that in respect of Activities, that there is a seperate form for shooting that parents need to complete and sign before the participants can take part. I have been sent a copy so will get my scouts covered, but others may want to contact the organisers to get hold of this form. I only found our because Ruth Jewel's final letter to leaders stated one was needed along with the Skaterham and Scuba Diving forms.
better sort it now rather than diappoint later!
