Yes - that’s right we have been given permission to attempt to create a new Guinness World Record (GWR) at Campdowne 2008.
As people gather together from all over the globe in one place for the time of their lives, we aim to create... The World’s Largest Scout Scarf.
To do this we need your help - members of Scouting or Guiding, young people and adults, participants and staff - this is for everyone.
If we are successful this will be the first record of its kind recognised as an OFFICIAL GUINNESS WORLD RECORD!
Our theme for CD08 is New Horizons, we are celebrating great explorers, adventurers and discoverers in world history and looking forward to new challenges in our futures.
This is our first challenge - can we all do our own small bit and meet in this one place, at this one time,to create this wonderful lasting reminder of everyone who came together to celebrate fun, friendship and adventure in the summer of 2008?
