Hi all,
we are all looking forward to catching up with friends old and meeting friends new. This will be our 3rd Campdowne and we are just counting the days.
I like the idea of the draft menu it all looks yummy although wasn't sure whether potatoes would figure heavily!!! lol I have just got over my aversion to sausages and cherry bakewells !! lol
Anyway I hope you are all praying for fine weather. I find it difficult to know what the rest of the UK is doing weatherwise as here in the Welsh valleys you never know what is happening from one valley to another.
Come and have a jar and a chat we are a friendly lot and usually have the kettle on!
See you all verrrry sooon
Sandie

Hi Sandie,
Its nice to see someone new using the message boards.
We would be pleased to come and have a cuppa with you and likewise you can come over to us for drinks too. We have 14 Scouts both boys and girls plus 4 leaders going to Campdowne. We attended the last one in 2004.
Good news is that the local weather forecast for this region has predicted a period of hot weather starting next week - apparently due to a tropical storm front somewhere else in the world. Wouldn't it be great if the weather is as good as last time.
Look forward to meeting you all next week.
